Hello! I’m Amanda Gotera.

I’m a writer, coordinator, and assistant with background in library & museum support, media production, and education.

I care a lot about storytelling, game mechanics, representation, media access, and world-building. I genuinely love spreadsheets, and I have writing credits at Disney, PBS, and Apple TV+.

I can write for any age group and in any genre, but I especially dig sci fi, fantasy, mystery, and action adventure.

My favorite projects are the ones that depend on artists and technicians working together. I love when dopey jokes intersect with big feelings. Really good science makes me cry.

TV writer, mixed race, Filipina-American, queer, she/her.

Loves cozy video games, needlecrafts, prehistoric megafauna, and that part in ALIENS when Ripley duct-tapes a flame thrower to a plasma shooter.
